Tenured Professor of Music; Director of Choral Conducting (2003 - present)

First recipient of the Ellen Nelson Barnes Presidential Endowed Chair in Choral
Studies.  Five year appointment.


Music Director and Conductor of the University of Utah Singers and A Cappella Choir;
Graduate conducting instructor.  Courses taught include University Singers, A Cappella Choir, Graduate Choral Conducting, Graduate Choral Literature.


Organized, raised funds for, and conducted an international concert tour of Israel (May 16-30). Concerts performed at Abu Gosh Music Festival, in Emek Hefer, Bar'am,
Nazareth, Govrin Caves, BYU Jerusalem Center, Ein-Geddi, and Tel Aviv.


Organized, raised funds for, and conducted four international concert tours of Europe for the University of Utah Singers
(May 3-31, 2005, May 25-June 22, 2006, July 12-August 11, 2007, May 11-June 7, 2009) with concerts in France, The Netherlands,
Germany, Italy, Spain, England, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, and Croatia.
